Cruising from Luxor to Abu Simble
Day 1:
Arrive at Luxor airport, where our representative will meet and assist you claim your baggage. You will be transferred to your selected Nile cruise. At the afternoon, you will be transported to visit Karnak Temple. More than a temple, Karnak is a spectacular complex of sanctuaries, pylons, statuettes and obelisks. Built on a grand scale, Karnak is probably Egypt's finest ancient temple. The drive to the illuminated Temple of Luxor where we enjoy a tour in the cool evening air. Overnight on board
Day 2:
Today, we visit Luxor's legendary West Bank - home to the famous Valley of the Kings, the imposing colonnaded temple of Queen Hatshepsut and the gigantic Colossi of Memnon. See how the ancient Egyptians confounded tomb robbers with the construction of elaborate catacombs, once filled with treasures and highly decorated to allow the pharaoh passage to the afterlife. Then you will visit the great legendary temple of the most famous Egyptian queens, Queen Hatshepsut, back to the cruise and enjoy sailing to Edfu via Esna lock and overnight in Edfu on board
Day 3:
After enjoying your breakfast while cruising up the Nile, visit the Greco Roman Temple of Edfu Temple by horse and carriage. Continue sailing towards the temple of Kom Ombo dedicated to the two gods Sobek the crocodile God and Harveris the Sun God enjoying free time and lunch. After visiting the temple continue sailing to Aswan and overnight on board
Day 4:
Today your tour starts at the High Dam and its huge lake then take a short ferry ride to the Romantic and Majestic Philae Temple followed by a visit to the unfinished obelisk . At the afternoon enjoy sailing in a traditional felucca to visit Elephantine. Tonight you can explore the many bazaars and small streets of Aswan along the Nile. Overnight on board
Day 5:
TODAY, you will be transferred to your selected lake cruise. At the afternoon, you will be transported to visit the great Greco roman temple of Kalabsha temple, continue your tour to Beit El-Wali, the kiosk of Qertassi. Back to the cruise and overnight on board.
Day 6:
in the early morning start cursing up the lake to visit the temple of Amada, the oldest Egyptian temple in Nubia, was first constructed by pharaoh Thutmose iii of the 18th dynasty the temple of Derr or El-Derr which the only rock-cut Egyptian temple built by pharaoh Ramesses ii in lower Nubia , it is the only rock-cut temple in Nubia which was constructed by this pharaoh on the right bank of the Nile , continue your tour to visit the Pennut tomb , back to the cruise and overnight on board
Day 7:
Today you will visit Wadi Es-Sebua, or valley of the lions (so-called because of the sphinx-lined approach to the temple forecourts,) is the site of two new kingdom Egyptian temples, including one impressively large temple spéos of Ramesses ii, continue to Ad-Dakka temple which was a place in lower Nubia, which was located approximately 100 km south of the Aswan the Greco-roman temple of dakka, dedicated to Thoth, the god of wisdom, your tour end at , Al-Maharraqa shrine lower Nubia, which was approximately 120 km south of Aswan on the southern border of the roman empire , back to the cruise and overnight on board.
Day 8:
Today you will view Qasr Ibrim from the boat. Qasr Iibrim is an archaeological site in lower Nubia. It was originally a major city perched on a cliff above the Nile, but the flooding of lake Nasser after the construction of the Aswan high dam transformed it into an island and flooded its outskirts. Continue sailing up the Nile to the great Abu Simbel temples refers to two massive rock temples in Abu Simbel in Nubia, the complex is part of the UNESCO world heritage site known as the "Nubian monuments back to the cruise and overnight on board
Day 9:
Check out after breakfast. Disembarkation and drive to Abu Simble airport for final departure.
